I've just been to Illinois and tried to find the Old Ontarioville Cemetery. Several people, including an 84 year old great aunt, told me it really no longer exists as a cemetery...that it was build around and the stones no longer exist. We found what we think should be the location but it looks like an empty lot surrounded by houses and a very busy street called Greenbrook Blvd.. My great-great grandmother CAROLINE (DEIDERDING) KINNECKE/KENNEKE/KUNNEKE should be buried there. Does anyone know the history of this cemetery and it's exact location?
