    3. Hi Joan, Saw this query in my IL-list email and wondered if I might be able to help you out. I do have access to the 1930 census and could possibly look up something for you. I don't know what the original query stated, so maybe you could pass along that info and I will see if I can locate anything helpful. Are James & Harriet Jones Leah's parents? Any dates listed to help with their ages? I did see in the 1930 census a listing for the following information, and it caught my eye as your email below seemed to infer that Leah (?? last name) had died while James and Harriet were still living. Are these people negro or white? 1930 Census IL, Cook, Chicago; 43rd Ward, Blk 268; Pct. 10 - North Mohawk St. Jones, James Head M W 61 Marr. at 19 IL OH OH Night Watchman Factory , Hattie Wife F W 51 " " 16 IL TN IN None Mack, Nielson Grandson M W 9 S IL IL IL At School Maybe this will be of some help.
