I can tell you 79th St was a main east - west street with bus service. Also 1600 East is a main north south street cld Stony Island with bus service. Neighborhood was middle class white mixture of Apartment bldgs and single family. Now middle class black. Don't recall name of neighborhood, but they all had one. Do remember abt a mile east of your addresss was cld South Shore
