His ship landed in NY from Hamburg Germany. He lived in Denmark and was born in Prussia 1835. We don't know where he lived in Illinois but he eventually ended up in Fresno, CA living with his daugher Maren Jensen Kromann Hansen. He died in Fresno 1906.
