Hio all, I am new to the list. And I am having peoblwms locating my Grandfather. Below is what info I have, including possible parent info for him. The only info in this Family Group that I am sure of is my Grandmother , Mother, and Uncle info. Everything for Harry S. DAVIS is a big question mark. Recently I was told that he could be found in the 1920 Decatur census and that Mary was in 1900 Effingham Co. census with her family. Both I can not find anything on a census or even marriage for them or any family for him. What my Mother has told me is that his family was fairly well-to-do and didn't approve of my Grandmother and that he was a petty thief/gambler. I have no idea where to look for a criminal record that far back or even if they still have one on him. Can anybody give me a helping hand?
