    1. Re: [ILROOTS] Ursul Bohne and wife Aurelia (Schlewing) Bohne
    2. I'm confused. You say buried in Monroe County but then in your list, you say county of death unknown. Were these their married names or maiden? If you do know they were buried in Monroe County, write the county clerk. They may have an alphabetical index as well as by date. These deaths are too recent to be at the Illinois State Archives site. There are records there though for these surnames. Henry Schlewing, Recruit, Co. C, 49 IL US INF, residence Bridgeport (Lawrence County) Civil War Shirley Gene Schlewing, Female/White, age unknown, died 5/12/1934, Cert #2890151, in Stephenson County, Freeport By doing a global search at this site, I found many records for the Bohne surname, but most were for men, Civil War Veterans and named on the Roll of Honor (veterans buried in Illinois), land records, marriage records for men named Bohne but I found none married to an Ursul or more likely, Ursula. Hope this helps some. Joan in Illinois
