I was looking at this family too and noted brother Edward stayed in Steele City, Willow Lake Township until 1910. He was a grocery store agent and was a widow living with his daughter, Grace, 6. I can't find him later. Can't find Samuel in 1910 but in 1920 he appears to be in Williams County, Hazel Twp., ND, Age 51,Single and boarding with one O. E. Denton 36, Single, farmer, general farming. Just these two are in this household. Samuel doesn't have an occupation. Thomas, Laborer/farmer, appears in 1910, 47, Widowed and Married 1 for 5 Y, no children born to this marriage, to Cora, married 1, 5 Y, born KY, father OH, mother KY There are 2 hired hands and this is in Barnes County, ND, Twp 142, Range 58, April 10, 1910. Could not find in 1920--maybe went to Canada? I'll go back now and see about those Thomas Dodd's I found in Illinois who were born in England. The hard thing is that these boys were born between census years, but we may at least be able to come up with some possibilities. Joan
