Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/Fh.2ADI/5736.1 Message Board Post: You need to write to the county clerks of EACH county to get the marriage licenses. I don't know how much the marriage licenses are in Scott Co. but in Morgan Co. they are probably around $15. The addresses are Scott County, 101 E. Market St., Winchester, IL 62694-1258 and Morgan County, 300 W. State St., Jacksonville, 62650-2063. There is a wonderful database at the Illinois Sec. of State website, which I'm sure you have checked. However, it is only a reference. You still need to get a copy from the county. Hope this helps. Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/Fh.2ADI/5731 Message Board Post: We are attempting to find our cousin, Patricia Hertl, born in Selb, Germany. Patricia was born abt 1960 to Santiago Navia (my uncle) and Herta Hertl. My uncle was stationed near Selb with the U.S. Army at that time. He lost contact when he was shipped back to the U.S. mainland. According to relatives, Patricia attempted to find her father (my uncle) in the USA (Hawaii and California) the early 1990's. She was able to make contact with family members who are now deceased, but did not make contact with her father, so we (her cousins, aunts and uncles) have no contact info for her.
