Grandfathers sis Mary Euchner born to John and Barbara apx 1865 Tazwell and brother abt 1866, There was a mention of Groveland and Washington. Would like to find exact dates through an angel lookup.
I tried Cheryl--also with no luck at Familysearch.com. I believe you are a victim of wrong indexing. I frequently found "L" substituted for "S" in my census records, for instance Leverson instead of the correct Severson, and Loren instead of Soren. I tried a few things for you but nothing worked. Good luck. Joan in Illinois

Henry was born about 1836 in Indiana, he married Nancy C. Smith in Vermilion co., Ill in 1871. In 1900 they were living in Middlefork twp, Vermilion co., Ill. Be sure to ask them if they also have the Marriage Application. If so, be sure to order both items. I have only dealt with county courthouses to order marriage licenses. So, if you order from UIS,I don't know if you will get a typed copy of the marriage license or a copy of the original. For the cost of paying someone for gas, the copy of the information (either the original or a transcript), etc., you will be much better off ordering the marriage license from the county. However, if you can get a copy of the original (not a typed copy) from IRAD, ordering it through the mail would be the cheapest way to go. Keep in mind that the database that is online has some mistakes in it. Hope you can get what you need from one of those places. Kathleen (STANFIELD) COOK

MARTIN & MARY SHERMAN (OR SHURMAN) they were married in Schuyler Co. IL, on Dec. 17th, 1889. I am trying to locate a copy of their marriage lic. OR any information about either of these two folks. I have been researching the line of FERN ELIZABETH (or ELISABETH) MARTIN, and info. from a family member said that her parents were Aseneth MARTIN (Mrs.) & BENJAMIN TRYON. I have since heard from another relative that possibly ASENETH wasn't her birth mother and that BENJAMIN was her stepfather. If there is anyone out there who knows anything about this family, please contact me. I have a marriage licence obtained recently for FERN and find that her parents are listed on it as MARY SHERMAN & THOMAS A. MARTIN, of Schuyler Co., IL. But Fern's birth certificate seems to be unavailable. The plot thickens! FERN's birth place on her own marriage licence is listed as Farmington, IL - and I have since found that there were several Farmington's in different counties, one Farmington now being FARMINGHAM? So, where do I begin to look for the birth cert. of Fern? Fern died in Clinton, MO and many family members seem to have gone to MO to live - there again - any help would be appreciated on decendants who may be able to assist me. Any help on this line would be greatly appreciated since Fern's son is ill and I would love to try and get his line proved for him asap. (He knows nothing about his family, they simply didn't discuss the family). Thanks in advance to anyone who can assist me in this. All the best, Marion
First of all, try googling it. Next, you might try contacting the Chicago Chamber of Commerce. This is how I found information about the company that made my grandmother's cedar chest. Best to you.
