What was your Great Grandfather's wife's name? Believe it or not, there are a lot of Jasper Smith's around, but I could not find one with Levi as a middle name. His wife's first name would be a help. Joan

I did a global search at the Illinois State Archives and the only records they show for the surname Tasso are in their two death databases. I suppose your Giovani may have gone by John at a later date. I also tried to find them in the 1900,1910 and 1920 censuses with no luck. Did they go back to Italy or move out of Illinois? Joan

If you go to _www.anywho.com_ (http://www.anywho.com) and put in the surname Krizic, four names come up, Gregory, Charles, Gary and Keith. Their addresses and phone numbers are there. Perhaps you could drop them a line to see if any are related. Steger and Crete are close to each other and Kankakee and Bourbonnais are just a little farther down.
