HEY VOLUNTEERS! I just got a gorgeous photo of a distant ancestor from a 1917 high school yearbook from New Britain CT. Why don't you let all your lists know what yearbooks you, or your local library have access to? I, for one, in Ford County, IL own most of Gibson City Drummer and Gibson City High School yearbooks from 1917 - 1982; and others I can look up at our local library...I think they have them all. gail hahn hutchcraft Ford County, Il volunteer ladybuggc@sbcglobal.net

Could you possibly go back to the query and add some info on your Ralph, how about the given name of his wife. regards, m.d. in calif. p.s.There is a Lake Lola in Bond county Illinois but I can't find a Lola Illinois. Could you read the document you have again and see if it is something else.
What do you know about Ralph Marion Graham, Thomas' son? If I could find him in a census, it would help me identify more about his father. Joan in Illinois

An interesting view of the Wooded Island is the Cahokla Court House, said to be the oldest public building in the Mississippi Valley. It was built about the year 1716 at Cahokla, Illinois

Does any one know of or where i might get a copy of this phot that was published in paper. The pioneers in the city of Macomb, the Pioneer Club of McDonough July 1905 and August 16, 1905 Thank You Cheryl
I found Eli and I see he said his mother tongue (and that of his wife's) was Jewish. You really need to check out that Hebrew Cemetery if you haven't already done so. Joan in Illinois
Some of these big courtyard buildings in Chicago had 4-6 entrances, and each entrance might be numbered 6953 (apartments to the left of the lobby) and 6955 (apartments to the right of the lobby), so I imagine you are correct. The last building I lived in was a six-flat - 7719 to the left of the entrance and 7721 to the right. I'll have to get some more input from my sister since I can't find it on the Cook County Assessor's site. All they show are some little bungalows and the like. I think there must have been some renumbering. Hard to believe they'd tear down a building that size. Thanks for your time. Joan
The Wendell (Utah) and Georgia (IL) PHILLIPS family are grouped with five families that show 6953-63 Woodlawn Avenue. The next entries after that group on Woodlawn Ave are 6949 and 6947 so I can only guess that the PHILLIPS were on about 6955 WoodLawn. Shows Wendell L. 30 Utah Georgia H. 34 IL Lowell C. 5 IN Jean R. 4 IN Russell 1 IL RC in TX.
