You can maybe google Washington county courthouse, Il. You can also try the Familysearch.org under the 2nd button next to home when you click it I think the 2nd thing down says record search pilot. Some people call this the new family search. There are a lot of records daily that are being digitalized, but you have to keep checking back in as things are getting added all the time. Myself I have scored a few free death certs. You can also check usgenweb.org or maybe even a local library to get you pointed in the right direction. IRAD Illinois Regional Archive Depository for a small fee or maybe free you can also get stuff. They have college students doing look ups and it is a state organization.
