This is my first post so hope I am sending correctly. re: Rock Island City Directories At one time the downtown Davenport Iowa Public library had the City Directories of this area in their Archives for the 1950's but I am not sure how many previous years they go back. I was also not aware that the Rock Island Historical Society has the directories on microfilm. Thank you Ruth for that tip. Kathy Jared
