I had a very kind person that did a look up for me and found at the Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery the following: Trefz Katherine E. b 22 mar 1821 - d 27 apr 1892 Christoph H b dec 1822 - d 29 Nov 1875 which very clearly matches my family. Then the rest is very unclear and I need the address to write to the cemetery or ask for someone to do a look for me. William 1858 - 1904 Ottilda 1858 - 1904 Sophia 1861-1928 My next question what was the first Lutheran Church in Rock Island, and was there a Church that directly relates to this cemetery. It also appears that the son of Christoph was buried in the Chippiannock Cemetery with other family members. Everyone has been a great help to me on this mail list and I just want to say a big THANK YOU - in the past weeks I have found out a lot about my family. I can't wait to get back their but with 3 young children it will probably be awhile. Especially since I was in that area the year before I knew my family was from there.
