    3. Cyndi ... this is not what you asked for, BUT adds a little color to the basic data you might already have ... "The Past and Present of Rock Island County, Illinois 1877". page 311 lists a Christ Trefz as living at 1924 3rd Ave of Rock Island City. In the same book, page 168, is listed the Evangelical Lutheran Immanuel Church being organized in 1856; and was located on the corner of Fifth avenue and Twentieth street in Rock Island. The Swedish Evangelical Lutheran Church is listed on page 170, and was organized in 1870 and the church built on the corner of Tenth street and Eighth avenue (at a cost of $2,500). On page 172 of the same book: "Chippiannock Cemetery, which means "City of the Dead," was organized in 1855, .... one mile south of the city limits." It also appears that the son of Christoph was buried in the Chippiannock Cemetery with other family members. > >> > Thanks to All > Cyndi > > I am in Aurora, CO just outside of Denver and if anyone needs anyhelp in this > area please contact me and I will see what I can do for you. > > ==== ILROCKIS Mailing List ==== > Your generous donations to RootsWeb makes this all possible.
