I just had another thought about your Schwenneker and RoseHill/Sturdivan Cemetery (Zuma Township) query.. Also in Zuma Township are the Schafer and the Zuma Cemeteries. There are Schafers in both and also John Schwegler who married a Schafer daughter and was born in Baach, Weurttemberg, Germany. I do not know exactly where John Schwegler is buried, but probably in one or the other. All the Schafers (Father, mother and 12 children, 2 married) also came to Rock Island County in 1849-50 from somewhere in Weurttemberg. Schwagler (b. 1853) followed them later. There may be a similar connection with your Schwenneker whose seems to have come from the same area and settled nearly in RIC. It might help to compare notes. Anne Lamb
