Hi Jan, For a couple of years I have been trying to find out about the death of my Great Grandfather, Marmaduke Abbott, who came to Illinois from Tipperary, Ireland in the 1850s, lived in Coal Valley, Rock Island County, Ill. and died around 1870--1880. The rest of his family ended up in Davenport, Scott Cty. Ia. but He was not with them there. If you happen to come across my Marmaduke I would sure be elated. Bev Hannigan, Houston, Tx.
