In response to a few inquiries that have come in lately about burials in Rock Island Co cemeteries, I have records of many of the cemeteries in lower county and will do look ups for anyone that is interested. What I have are: Reynolds cemetery in Reynolds, IL Andalusia cemetery in Andalusia, IL Dunlap Cemetery near Edgington, IL Chapel Grove Cemetery (Bowling Twp) south of Milan and east of Taylor Ridge Illinois City cemetery at Illinois City, IL Sortore Cemetery near Edgington (abandoned) The above listed cemeteries are complete. They were obtained from the cemetery sextons. I have the list for Edgington cemetery in Edgington, IL but am not sure that is complete and up to date. I also have the lists for these as found in Dwight E Mohlenbruck's Death Index 1800 through 1992: Drury Reynolds Cemetery Buffalo Prairie Cemetery Essex Drugg Mills Memorial Gardens, Muscatine, IA Greenwood, Muscatine, IA Zion Lutheran Leech Hamlet Cable Biggsville Pacific Ocean -- off Midway Island Monmouth Memorial Park, Muscatine, IA Eliza Creek Pleasant Hill, Lone Springs, IA Remer And I have the Carr Cemetery in Rock Island, but will have to look for that one as it is not with my others.
