Hello, Seeking information re: Mary J. HATCH who married Wilson DWY in White Pigeon, St. Joseph Co, MI in 1856, lived in Appleton, WI where Wilson DWY died in 1879, and was in Moline, Rock Island Co, IL by 1892. Mary J. DWY applied for a widow's Civil War pension on 27 Oct 1892 giving her address as: c/o Frank Wood, Moline Pump Co, Moline, Illinois. Don't know Mary's relationship to Frank H. Wood. Claim for widow's pension was abandoned in 1893 but no reason given. Perhaps Mary died or remarried. Any information on these people helpful. Thank you, Diane DGonthier@msn.com
