(I'm not sure if this was posted previously, so excuse me if this is a second identical message). I'm wondering how to search for a divorce that likely occured in Rock Island County. Jacob FINK, his wife Genevieve and children were in Rock Island in 1870. In 1880, Genevieve and family were living in Davenport, Iowa and she was listed as "divorced" on the census. I haven't been able to find Jacob in the 1880 census. (Scott or Rock Island Counties) The divorce may have been in Scott County, but I have to check Rock Island as being a good possibility.
