Delbert Ray “Doc” Rollinson March 3, 1954 - December 17, 1999 Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. on Sunday at the Hughey Funeral Home in Mt.Vernon for Delbert Ray “DOC” Rollinson, 45, of Mt. Vernon. The burial was in Union Chapel Cemetery. The Reverend John A. Capps officiated at the service. Rollinson died at 7:25 a.m. on Friday at his home in Mt. Vernon. He was born March 3, 1954, the daughter of John and Ina Belle (Upton) Rollinson. He married Lisa A. Balsover on December 31, 1993, in Mt. Vernon. He was a line mechanic at Littlefuse Incorporated in Centralia. Rollinson was also a member of the Baptist faith and was the drummer in the gospel group Living Proof. Rollinson enjoyed all types of music and loved to play gospel music with his friends. Survivors include his wife Lisa of Mt. Vernon, three daughters, Leah Rollinson of Salem,and Jaynell Rollinson and Michaela Rollinson of Mt. Vernon; one step son, Corey Harris of Mt.Vernon; one step daughter Amber miller of Mt. VErnon; two sisters, Sandy Hicks and husband Steve of Mt. Vernon; Janice Quillman and husband Larry of Iuka; three brothers Gary Rollinson of Anderson, Indiana, Bob Rollinson and wife Margaret of Dahlgren, Dean Rolinson and wife Sandy of Mt. Vernon; his stepmother Mary Rollinson of Centralia; two step-sisters, Cindy Perkins and husband Bill of Mt.Vernon, Patty Dump and husband Harold of Missouri; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents
