Hi, I'm new to the list. I've just started working on my husbands family. I'm hoping someone on the list will have additional information on the parents of John Cross and Elizabeth Vandruff. Here's where I am so far: John CROSS was born about 1833 in Pennsylvania. He married Elizabeth VANDRUFF 15 July 1855 in Rock Island County, Illinois. Elizabeth was born about 1836 in Illinois according to census records. Between 1869 and 1871, the family moved to Sarcoxie Township, Jefferson County, Kansas. Children include: William Rodman born 03 March 1859 in Illinois James O. born about 1869 in Illinois George born about 1871 in Kansas Eva L. born about 1874 in Kansas I have information on William Cross which I would gladly share.
