June Hohgrefe James of Chester has done the church records (births, marriages, death, baptisms, etc.) from St. John Lutheran, Chester; St. Mark's Steeleville; St. Johannes Parish BREMEN; Zion Lutheran WALSH; and all of the information about their cost is on David McKelvey's Randolph County web site. Go to http://www.rootsweb.com/~ilrandol/ And Randolph County Genealogy Society is in beautiful blue. You can't miss it. Under this, it says "RANDOLPH COUNTY BOOKS FOR SALE". Click on that and you will get all the information about ordering any of these books. It even gives the price, the address to write to, and how many pages are in the book (maybe). I have been giving out this information whenever it is possible, but for me to type this info for each person who asks, is a BIG task. This is how Randolph County Genealogical Society funds itself, by helping you find the information you need. You need to thank Midge Dobyns who comes to Chester every Monday AND Tuesday all the way from Ava, IL to run the copying machine. She runs it all day long making books and copies of documents for YOU. It is a hard job, but she can do the work of three people. I am very proud of her for the amount and quality of work she does. Virginia Mansker is doing the 1910 census which is a huge task. June James is sorting documents and helping Virginia do the census (this will be in three books because it is so large.) The main thing I am trying to tell you is to go to the http://www.rootsweb.com/~ilrandol/ site to learn how to order books from us. You will be amazed at what else you can find out. ALSO BOOKMARK THE SITE so that you can go back often! Velda Wittenbrink Moore
