I made a quick trip (in the rain) to Kaskaskia Island a few days ago and found the small cemetery there. I'm researching the Gendrons from Kaskaskia, and although there were some buried in this cemetery, they were too recent for what I am trying to find. Does anyone know where an older cemetery might be located, perhaps on the Illinois side of the river before Kaskaskia was separated by the river changing course? Any help would be appreciated before I make a trip over there. I'm on the Missouri side of the river. Thanks. Lisa Gendron
