Lee, I have Samuel Anderson Edmiston (b. 1851 Leroy, Genesee Co., NY). He married Clara Jeanette Landauer 31 Oct 1833 in Fulton Co. IL. They had three children: Vera, Raymond and Landauer P. Edmiston. All three children were born in Arkansas; Raymond in Pine Bluff, Jefferson Co., AR. Samuel A. Edmiston's parents were John A. Edmiston (b, 1823, OH) and Adelia Richmond (b. 1832, MI). They travelled a LOT. John was a carpenter and a then a photographer. Sam was also a Photographer and had a shop in Canton, Fulton Co. ,IL for some years. John and Adelia's children were Samuel (b. NY), Estella (b. MI), Elize Belle (b. IN) and Cora E. (b. MI). Edmiston isn't THAT common of a surname. I don't have any link to them in Randolf Co., but I did have Clara Jeannette's brother, Leroy, dieing in Randolf Co. in 1901. Any link?
