I am trying to locate any info on this family who according to the 1880 census was in Red Bud. It may be my grandfather's family. TOY self 39 LA Printer PA IL Mary TOY wife 29 IL Keeping GERM GERM House Thomas TOY son 8 PA LA IL George TOY son 7 PA LA IL Charles TOY son 4 PA LA IL Elisaberta TOY dau 1 IL LA IL Margareth Guker mother-in-law 67 GERM GERM GERM My grandfather would be the Thomas Toy listed here, and there are so many consistencies with other information I have that it seems this just has to be the correct family, yet there are some a few contradictions that make me question it. I'm hoping there might be someone else out there that has researched this family - either the TOY or GUKER side, that I might be able to get together with. Thanks!
