My name is Kevin Frye and I am a volunteer here at Andersonville Civil War POW site. In the past 4 years, I have helped thousands of researchers find their Civil War ancestors for FREE. I would like to post my offer for lookups on your rootsweb site. I am asking for permission to post in advance so as I don't cross any lines.   My site is has been reviewed by the USGW board and supports the work that I do.   I know that your state was not as involved in the Civil War as those here on the East coast, but as you know, many veterans moved west following the war. What I do here is to do absolutely free research for those who had one of the 45000 prisoners who were held here. Being that of these 45000 held, and that there were 12960 who died here and are buried in Andersonville National Cemetery..I have dedicated much time to the memory of these men as well all POWS from Union and Confederate sites,,,and all POWS from all American wars.
