At one time in the 1930's, my greatgrandmother made a claim for some indian settlement funds. She had to prove at least 1/16th native american ancestry to qualify. Does anyone know anything about this act and if any records are availabe from it. I think it would be an excellent resource --- Outgoing mail is certified Virus Free.
