Am desperately seeking information regarding parents and/or siblings of Thomas Robert Davis b. 2/06/1850 (2) in Jackson County or Pickneyville depending on the source. Thomas married Eliza Leming in Randolph County in 1874 and Elizabeth (m. Dwight Durkee), Mary (died at age 3), Thomas Leming (my g-grandfather and moved to Rockford) and Edna Mae (m. Doug Smith) were the products of this union. Thomas was a miner and lived in Randolph County until 1901 when he and Eliza moved to Willisville where he died on May 13, 1928. On his death certificate it lists his mother as Elizabeth Huggins (b. in IL) and his father as Robert Davis (b. in Wales). Any information would be most appreciated.
