I have just finished revising the RCGS book list. I would be happy to send you a copy if you just let me know you want it. It will soon be on the ILRCGS website below my signature. Give Larry a few days to get it on. We will be soon adding more books to this list, so you might need to go back every few weeks for a while. Our book sales have really dropped, so see if you need one, please send in your order! Ordering info is on this website also. RCGS is set up now to do research for you! We have not had one letter asking for research yet, so get busy. It costs to have this computer up and running for the office. Be sure to look at the BOOKS FOR SALE list! Thanks to all. Does anyone know of any books or other information for the Chester Asylum for the Criminal Insane? I have found pictures and history for it but not much else. I am trying to find out more information on my husband's great uncle, Leroy Landauer, who died there on 21 Sep 1901. He was born and is buried in Canton, Fulton Co., IL and he never married or had any children that I know of. I know a lot about his parents and siblings and have found him in several federal censuses, including the 1900 where he is an inmate there. His uncle also ended up in a mental hospital and I am wondering just why that is. Thank you for any help you can give me. Judy Landauer geniegal@g14.myrf.net
