    1. [ILRANDOL] Ida Tegtmeyer photo on Ebay
    2. Joel S. Russell
    3. If anyone is interested there is a photo of Ida Tegtmeyer, dated 21 May 1907, available on Ebay. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=110067562190&ssPageName=ADME:B:SS:US:1 I am not the seller, nor do I have any connection or knowledge of the seller. A quick check of Census records indicate that this is probably (not positively) the Ida Tegtmeyer who was born March 1887 and was the daughter of George and Augustine Tegtmeyer. They lived in the Wine Hill/Campbell Hill area. Joel http://www.mindspring.com/~jsruss/

    1. [ILRANDOL] Edward Lampe Researcher needed
    2. G Hobbs
    3. My mother-in-law was a friend of and worked for Edward Lampe (1 Apr 1887 - Sep 1969 Centralia, Marion, IL) in Chester and, in her effects, I found an 8x10 photo of him that I would like to send to someone in the Lampe family. He was the son of Herman Lampe & Caroline Hoeninghouse. He was first married to Minnie Michael who died in 1920 and then he married Sophia Feldman who died in 1957 in Chester. He had two daughters, Mildred and Ruth. I believe he was living with Mildred at the time of his death. Mildred's married name was Guetersloh and Ruth's married name was Voss and she was living in Belleville at the time of her father's death. Any help in locating Edward's descendants would most appreciated. Gwen Hobbs

She thought it might be useful for people having trouble getting records from the clerk's office. Has anyone tried it? While I was doing research on my husband's family I discovered this state's Freedom of Information Act that can be "invoked" to get documents when county clerks and their staff are less than cooperative. 3. Hi Peter, I am sorry this information is too late for my research timeline,I havent been able to get that far with my WRIGHT family yet, but the free Ancestry over your Thanksgiving has been a bonus! I think I have found James and Alpherd WRIGHT up to 1900 anyway. By the looks of things, both John Snr. and Margaret/Mary WRIGHT died quite young - I think, and James and Alpherd were bought up partially by the John ANDERSON,of Sparta, and/or John ANDREWS of Tilden, family. I will post more when I have sifted through the information gleaned from Ancestry! Dont stress Debbie 'Snooks' , its taken 10years to get this far with John & Margaret, another few wont matter! :-) Many thanks, and hope you all had a wonderful and safe Thanksgiving! We dont celebrate that here in New Zealand. I mention this because she was supposed to have died abt 1842 in Randolph County, IL. Does anyone out there recognize this Margaret? I have no birth date/place information, but have her parents listed as Joseph Todd & Rachel Quick. She had a sister (I think they were sisters at any rate) named Lydia born bet 1780-1790 that married John Laird, Jr 24 Jun 1818 at the St Louis Methodist Episcopal Church, St Louis, MO. Am trying to prove that John and Joab were brothers that married these sisters. John and Joab could be cousins as well. Jon Gearhart
