    2. Whoever was looking for Manuel Dempsey and family check Washington County. He is in the 1865 and 1870 census, he also has a probate there, so I would say he died there also.

    1. [ILRANDOL] Manuel Dempsey/Jane Bilderback
    2. William Rose
    3. I was wondering if anyone had any information on Manuel "Minnie" Dempsey and Mary Jane Bilderback. All I know is that he was born about 1838-1847 in Illinois. She was born about 1842. They were married 27 Feb 1862 in Randolph County. I would like to find out their death dates and where they are buried. His parents are Arthur and Mary. Hers are Henry and Emaline, I think. Thanks for your help. Lori

I found the death of a Mary I. Morgan it gave no age and I think maybe the I is a typo, instead of Mary J. Just me guessing but the right county.. Mary I. Morgan died 10/19/1945 Jackson County Ora Twp. Certificate# 0042313 If this is not Lucuis' wife I would think related somehow. Then I got on family search.org and looked up Lucius Morgan's children and found Willard Morgan SSDI Birth May 8, 1893 died Feb 1989 Sagniaw, Mich He was the only one with birthdate May 1893. Might be Lucuis's son. Hope I didn't confuse you. I just can't find them anywhere in the census after 1900. Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list. I looked Millard Morgan in the census and what I found in the 1910 census Cook County Chicago was Millard Morgan 51 yrs old I know that isn't him, but the Millard Morgan in Cook County was from Ky. I was thinking maybe he was related and that was who Lucuis named his son after. Just a thought I might be wrong.. Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list. Yes, that is the Enoch and Lucius Morgan I was looking for. I really appreciate your help. This is really the first thing I have been able to find out about them in years. Sarah Holt who married Enoch Morgan, who I believe may have died during the Civil War. (but could be wrong), remarried to James B. Morris and they eventually moved to Texas. I have copies of a couple of letter which were written to Sarah's sister and brother-in-law in Illinois. In each letter she plead's for Lucius to come to Texas. Thanks you so much.
