Hemphill Cemetery far corner, East, North,(in newer section) SMITH, John T. Aug. 17, 1844-Oct. 8, 1922 First Wisconsin Calvary, Co. G or C twelve feet to the left are Glass family stones. There is an unmarked stone to his right. As far as we know there is no book listing of this cemetery. My husband has recently cleared the past fifty or so years of growth and then enumerated the cemetery. There are approximately 300 graves and about 75 have inscriptions. Here is the whole listing of the newer section of this cemetery. Hemphill Cemetery far corner, East, North, SMITH, John T. Aug. 17, 1844-Oct. 8, 1922 First Wisconsin Calvary, Co.
