Hi, Cheryl Broadway Cossey, I was drawn to your article re: Grand Pierre Creek Cemetery or other. Could it be the same cemetery where my relatives are buried. You go north on rt. 146 past the Eddyville Black Top to the forks in the highway. There use to be a rock shop there. Bearing left head West out into the country. That is all I remember. There use to be a school there but it burnt years ago. Now there is a little white church called Ole Grandpier and a cemetery in front of it. My family names are: Carr, Floyd and Averill and there are others buried there also. It also has a few Civil War Markers including my G. Great Grandfather's stone, Lt. Col. Thomas Jefferson Carr. Just anxious to see if your cemet. is the same as mine!
