Any of you Barger people out there....do you have any info on an Barger who married an Atkin/Akin/Atkinson/Akinson? She was my grandmother Bertha/Berthie A..who came from Rosebud, Il. Her mother was a Barger if I'm reading the death certificate right...hard to make out. Cressie was born 4/17/86. Would have been about the time she was born...she died about 1934/6. She and Cressie later moved from Pope county to Alexander county, McClure, Il. She is buried in Lindsey cemetary. BTW...there are Browns and Jacobs buried near them. The gravesites are as you face the cemetary...on the far right side on a steep hillside. Thought maybe someone would like to know. Bertha does not have a headstone yet..but you can find the Jaco headstone there. The Browns used to live right next door to my Ggrandmother Goodman and her son Cressie Jaco.
