Kent: I believe the James Vaughn you referred to is my gg grandfather. He was married to Eliza Moyers, May 20,1842 in Pope County,IL They had 5 children: George, Joseph, Henry (my g grandfather), Angeline and Margaret. He then married Elizabeth Catharine PINNELL, Sept.15,1859 in Pope County. They had 3 children: Alfred, Daniel and Spencer. As you say there are so many Vaughns with the same names it is hard to tell who is who. Connie
