There is a small town or community called Brownfield in Pope Co., I am told. Does anyone have any information as to who the town is named after. I am asking for a friend by the name of Brownfield, who traced some of his family to Pope Co. and is interested to see if the town was named after his Brownfield descendant. He would also be interested in any other history of this town. Thank You bob
