Lived in Massac County,IL (Co. adjacent to Pope) from March 19, 1829 til his death on July 30, 1877. Married Nancy McCormick in Nashville, TN. She died in 1842. He then married Elizabeth Manville in 1846. She died in 1858. He then married Ms. Luttrell. First marriage-8 children--James, Er, Andrew U., George, Lucas, Louisa, Mary Jane, and John. Second marriage-6 children--Peleg, Thomas, Catherine, William, Annie, Leora. Andrew U.-Born in Massac on May 21, 1826. 1869 married Jennie Davisson. Thet had 3 children--Hattie I., Mary, and Ross W.
