I am trying to find the whereabouts of my Gr... Gr... Grandparents. Elizabeth Williams was married to John Taylor Lauderdale, they both lived in Pope CO. John and Elizabeth had at least 3 daughters Pheobe m to Josiah Silas Jackson, Margaret m to Henry Leverett, and Nancy. John Lauderdale served in the Civil War. According to his Widow's pension application he possibly died in Jackson CO, IL in May of 1870. I have not been able to find anything in the Jackson CO courthouse on him. I have seen the 1870 census of Jackson and found 2 different John Lauderdale's. Elizabeth remarried - John Isaac Clubb December 22, 1875. I believe John Clubb and Elizabeth may have had at least 2 children Mary Ann and George. Any help would be appreciated.
