My next day off, I'm heading back to Massac Co to go over probate records. Pope Co records have been transcribed, and I haven't found anything on this family in it. My husband and I have been married almost 17 years, two kids, Kayla 12, Travis 10, four horses, two dogs and we are down to just one cat. We live in the country - most of our ancestors have lived in this same area for 150 years. We camp with our horses up near Pope Co and ride along the river to river trail into Pope Co. When you say you have Reynolds on your side, do you mean more than Jackson? If you don't mind, pass along what you have on your line and I'll keep it as I research in the area. For a long time I thought that Poco was just Pope Co, but there really is a settlement named Poco. It's a shame my grandmother doesn't know about her grandmother's family. That seems odd, not to know your own great grandparents, but I'm sure my sister doesn't know who hers are. BTW, my husband was born at Ft. Hood.
