HENSON (b. ?, d. 5 Jun 1887) and Annabelle BARBER (b. ?, d. ?). "My" Hensons were from Hardin county and I haven't uncovered any other information yet about "my" Hensons so I don't know if or where they may fit in. Now in answer to your question, I have extracted many HENSON entries from several censuses for both Pope and Hardin counties. Looking through them I found an entry in Pope County, Jefferson precinct for the 1880 Federal Census for a Thomas HENSON, with wife Melissa, two sons and two daughters (the eldest child being Emma, age 8) and also his father, Thomas. There were also two other people in the household, a Fredonia and Charles ROBINSON (appears to be a mother and son, but no relationship to Thomas HENSON is indicated). I'm not sure if this is the family you referred to, but it seems to fit. If you don't already have this census entry I can mail you a copy -- just let me know.
