    3. Judith: Thanks for the info. Where do you find the BLM sites. My ggrandmother was Rebecca Ann KIRKPATRICK married to William Campbell SEARLES living in Pope County, IL. I believe she was the dau of James KIRKPATRICK and Mary (unknown). I have had a hard time with the KIRKPATRICK'.
