In information sent to me earlier this week (well, ok, last week) James W. Robbs was listed as buried at Sulfur Springs. We couldn't find a grave. He very well may be there, but we also located a James W. Robbs with the same date of death of Dec. 19, 1872, buried at Lincoln Cem. in Alexander Co. Ill. The dates of birth are close. I received a 1930 date. The one listed is Nov. 5, 1829. I have James as living at Clear Creek, Alexander, Ill...and also have the birth of two or three children. They were born at Clear Creek. He married Catherine Randolph, dau. of James Randolph and Mary Ann Reevis or Reeves. He may have been married before. ...Anyone know about him?
