I believe it was the Pope County Historical Society published I believe 2 or 3 books on the history of Pope County. I have a copy of one of the volumes it you would like me to look something up for you. If memory serves me correctly each volume has biographies that have been submitted on there families, some dating back to there earliest know ancestor in America.
