Hi again Marla, I forgot there is some good, well-researched information on Elias Cotton's (and a little on the Hill's) in the book: Early Pioneer Gravestones of Pope County, Illinois by Michael J. McNerney and Herb Meyer The address I have for them is American Resources Group, Ltd. 127 North Washington Street Carbondale, IL 62901 phone # is 618-529-2741 It is a thin book of some 42 pages but packed with information and pictures of some of the stones. This is an excellent book that contains a lot of genealogy information on several families in conjunction with their research into the unique handmade tombstones found on the graves of some of the family members. In case anyone else is interested, the families in the book are: Hazel; Rolston; Hays; Cotton; Hill; Ditterline; Ellis; Cannaday; Sullenger; Watson; Scott; Beanard and (Shuffle)Barger Ginger gingerh@intrnet.net ---------- > From: Marla Webb <dwebb@inquo.net> > To: ILPOPE-L@rootsweb.com > Subject: [ILPOPE-L] Shedville Cemetary > Date: Thursday, July 16, 1998 8:03 PM > > Is there any way to get a cemetary list of names of people buried there?
