I have the 1910 Stonefort, Saline Co, IL Census (from the tapes at the FHC, since no one has ever transcribed this one last time I checked), and I will do lookups from it. I will attempt to at least do an "every name" index for it in the very near future. I am also planning on transcribing it for the Saline Co web site. Stonefort sits on the border of Saline, Pope, and Williamson Counties. Happy Searchin', Sherry Date: Mon, 10 Nov 1997 19:33:16 -0800 From: "Opal A. Mailing list" <ILPOPE-L@rootsweb.com> Subject: Look-ups Hi All, I have the Pope County History books, Volumes I & II, and will look up names for anyone. They are not everyname indexed so can only give info on surname used in the articles. So many of my ancestors were in Pope County that I find the Pope web page my favorite place on the Net. I have answered several requests for info from members of the mailing list by personal e-mail so there is more activity than it looks like going on, Ginger. Has anyone heard of Paul H. Worley (unclepaul@worldnet.att.net)? He has a huge database on past residents of Pope County and has helped me out with my surname research. He doesn't have the database on line so would have to answer your requests by snail-mail. Have I missed other people besides Sherry Miller and Cindy Pegg who are doing look-ups?
