I am looking for information on the Crotchett/Tanner families. What little info I do have is from family pictures, etc. Lorenzo Dow Crotchett (son of John Isaac/wife unknown) born in Golconda North, IL 2/20/1821. Married Elizabeth Christian Tanner 8/7/1845 (dau. of Thomas Tanner/wife unknown). The Tanners were from Kentucky but unknown where. Lorenzo & Elizabeth eventually ended up in Kansas (Miami Co.). One of their daughters, Mary Jane, married George Wesley Combs. I'm new to the list (and genealogy research) so if this request should be in another format, please let me know.
