Kerleys in my direct line are: Julia Edna Kerley, John McClellan Kerley, Miles Austin Kerley, Lewis Kerley, Henry Kerley, etc. I have the book about Families of Johnson Co IL where quite a bit of info shows up on the Kerleys. Do you have it? I have been having trouble with Lemuel Ford family. Ihave been unable to pin down a name on his wife. I'm willing to share info. She was d. of Lemuel and Obedience Guilliams Ford. Elizabeth m. Miles Austin Kerley on 10 Apr 1844. He was b.3 Aug 1823 in NC Mr. Kerley came to Johnson Co in 1836 with his parents, Lewis and Mary(Polly) Simmons Kerley. They had 10 children.
