The lines I am chasing seemed to have bounced back & forth between Massac & Pope Counties. Levi & Martha OWENS along with children James, Samuel Thomas, Blitha (Daughter Sarah may have stayed in TN) moved to Massac/Pope county in the 1860's. Samuel T. OWENS married (1) Demis STAFFORD July 1879 (2) Martha T. FINCH Nov 1880 (3) Emily L. HENSON Nov 1894 Nancy OWENS married Wash. JOHNSON/JOHNSTON abt 1899 and daughter Printha was born July 1900. I am really stuck on Nancy & Wash JOHNSTON. I can find no record of them at all outside their daughter's (Printha) 1923 marriage record. Nancy susposedly died in childbirth and Printha was raised by Samuel & Emily OWENS. Sheryl Burns
