Rena, As best I know, my Searcy's probably did come from NC. Supposedly, we descend from John, Sr., John, Jr., and Reuben. I can confidently document to a Reuben in Boone Co., Ky. His wife, Elizabeth, and sons went to Switzerland Co., Ind. My direct line went to Perry Co., Ind. and my grandfather, Theo Searcy, with his brother James, settled in Pope Co.
